If Success were a feeling.. What would it be?

article image placeholderUploaded by @michele_NCLLC
And so what I want you to do when you think about this is I want you to think about those times in your life it could be when you were little, when you were a young kid, when you succeeded, what was your heart saying? What was your gut saying, and what were those indicators? So I'd love to hear what your answers are and what success feels like to you. Thanks a lot

And to this very day, when I think about how I feel successful, it has to do with how I am managing my time. And is it my time to manage? If I feel like my time is not my own, then I'm feeling very unsuccessful. So I think it has a lot to do with maturing into that question in a way where you're really defining who you are based on your values and also your accountability to others, obviously, and their perception of you pulling your weight

Hey, this is a great topic. I would say if I had to equate success with a feeling, then I would say I feel successful when the goal has been met and when the challenge has been met. So for me, I don't concern myself so much with timelines as I do with making sure the job is completed. So if I have a project in front of me, I understand that in a perfect world, everything is not going to go as planned

Good morning, Michelle. This is a great question. For me, success is what I'm feeling now at my job or at my home. It's happiness. So in my life, I don't measure success necessarily about how much money I make or how much I have. It's the feeling of happiness if I'm happy in the situations I'm in. And right now, I feel so successful because I'm happy. Like, I go to work and have a good staff

@michele_NCLLC feels like the first time I rode a bicycle without the training wheels 😁

I don't dwell on it for too long. I don't take time to appreciate that intense joy like I did with the bicycle and the car, and I just move on to the next one. So thank you for this brilliant topic. It did made me think, and I appreciate that

You. Hi, Deborah. Thanks for responding. I love the ownership of your time. In describing that as a feeling of success. I love that. So if you were to describe that as a word like freedom or independence, would either of those words fit as well? Well, what does that ownership of time mean to you? So I'd love to dig a little bit deeper. Thank you. Thank

Hi. Thanks for responding to my question. I love that you had described your sense of success as accomplishing your goals, finishing what you started, if you will. You set your sights on something and you accomplish it. What does that feel like to you when you do that? Is that a feeling of pride? Is it a feeling of accomplishment? If you were to describe that in one word, what would that feeling word be? Thank you so much. Let's dig a little bit deeper

What would those maybe breaking down happiness even a little bit further do to describe how you're feeling? But you did make my day listening to you and how happy you are in both your work life and your home life. That's awesome. Thank you

Hi, Nadine. I hope I am pronouncing your name correctly. Thank you for responding. I love your examples of learning to ride a bike and the joy that you felt doing that. That's such a big accomplishment in our lives, right that first big time we are able to get on a bike and ride. Um, and it is joyous. It's you know, maybe it's also this feeling of independence and freedom as well, you know?

And I know that while I'm at work, even if it's a stressful moment, I know my team is going to back me up. They're going to ask me, how am I doing? Are you okay? They're going to sit down and ask that just like I with them, I can have a conversation with them about work and about outside of work. We're just a great match. And I love that. And I would never have thought that a couple of years ago
