Hey, there. Big fan of this post and the idea of a mental health break that can be taken in so many different ways. One way is no social media. One way is no work or, you know, lightning the load or do, you know, taking a day without your phone own or away from your family or whatever it is. I love this. It might mean, like, taking a day to just watch TV and completely zone out and distract

And I think it's essential that your mate or partner or friends or family understand that this is a normal occurrence. It doesn't mean they need to fix you, that you're having massive depression or anything like that. This is just overwhelming a lot of stuff, and it's the let down from doing a lot of hard work, and you just need a day to pause and having your self care, and there's nothing wrong with it

Yes to that proactive response and being able to regulate prior to having a short fuse. 100% last night, actually, I was just feeling, like, socks and wiped, and my partner had this event that he wanted me to come to, and I really wanted to go to it. And I was having in just this massive turmoil moment of, like, I want to go, but I'm exhausted, and I don't want to deplete myself too much
