Communication Gone Wrong

article image placeholderUploaded by @MHNmaven
If you're old enough to think back to that and we're in existence, I'm just curious, what do you think has gone wrong with communication and all this time? Is it social media? Is it the internet? Is it texting where you don't even do complete senses? What is it I'm interested to hear? Let's do this share. And as I always tell you guys, I wish you a blessed, blessed day and peace of beach

And so starting with awareness, I think that people don't always do the healing work that they can be doing, working on themselves, spending time alone and assessing and getting to know their own bodies and minds and things like that, right? And dealing with childhood experiences or life experiences, dresses, all that. So when people don't address their individual, the things going on with them, then when they go out and interact with the world, they respond with a trauma response, right?

How often do we go out to eat and see families, kids looking at their cell phones or playing games and stuff and maybe the parents are doing the same thing. We've lost our ability to interact with each other and have those relationships. We are human beings and we need that personal connection

They have trauma behind them. We're coming off this pandemic. We're still sort of in it. We've had spikes here in Southern California, my son's class, someone tested positive this week, this last week. So it's been kind of crazy for everyone. And whether you've been affected by it directly, you're indirectly affected by it, by the news and everything else that's going on. So there is trauma response with a lot of things. Everything's become political

I mean, for a decade or so, she was at home when she stopped that profession, and I never really asked her why that happened. And she's been gone for almost 23 years now, so I wish I would have been more adult

Okay. This conversation is a really good conversation. I'm happy to be a part of it. The first thing I want to talk about is when you said labels, people not seeing people for their heart and soul, but rather their sexual orientation, their race and things like that. I agree agree with that, how that disrupts conversation because it puts people into a box. And a lot of the way society runs puts people into a box. People are chasing labels

This is instead simply my opinion and my two cent on the issue. Now, we're all responsible for what we say and do in life. We all have to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in both work and in our personal lives. What can I can tell you with regard to the smartphones is what I like to call antisocial media and that has made people lazy

Hey, Renee, thank you so much again for another reply and contribution to our conversation about communication. 100% fantastic replies, great participation in this and I greatly appreciate it. Yes, the limiting of getting to know somebody because of the items you pointed out at the beginning of your conversation where we're distracted, this distraction society, where we're less aware and present. Yes, limiting yourself from really getting to know someone else

It's this manipulative game that goes on all based on trauma, and it's just really interesting. And I appreciate that contribution. Totally agree with you on all of your points. It is crazy how bad things have gotten in all forms of commitment, communication, and how we need to get back to humanity and empowering each other and helping each other, because you can't rise until you help raise someone else. And that is so important in this world. We need to all contribute
