Friday Forward - Letting Go: Old Responses

article image placeholderUploaded by @MHNmaven
Now we're in your front seat and you're clouding your vision going forward could be released and let go of because you change your responses. So let's think about this. Somebody you're out with to dinner or a drink or a party or just coming visiting to their home or what have you and they do something that you have a knee jerk reaction because you're annoyed by it after so many years. How about you change your old response? How about you don't respond at all?

Letting go of old responses

Hi. So today I'm answering to letting go of old responses, and I've worked in the field. This is Don Coleman. I work with people who have had some very strong behaviors and also have had friends and family. I've even had some behaviors that have annoyed to. And one thing I've learned is, like, to ignore the behavior. I'm really learning to do that. Not that we make it happen every time, because Lord knows he's working on me

And then it's interesting when you say that because then we should be rewarding behaviors. Like when we're enjoying time in their presence, like going, oh, I'm really enjoying this talk with you, when they're not doing the other things that we're like, oh my gosh, why are they doing that? When you're saying, you know, I'm really enjoying my time with you today
