Thankful Thursday - Self Regulation

Avoiding mood altering drugs, unless you need to have those prescribed by under a doctor's care at any time you do any of these things under a doctor's care, getting good sleep, getting exercise, moving, and then making activities smaller if you need to is great ways of helping your executive functioning skills and helping your selfregulation. All of these are intertwined. It is okay to slow down. It's okay to slow your role. It's okay to pause. It is so okay

So I'm like, dang, I can't even imagine how much I was doing however many years ago, if I still feel this way now after putting a lot of effort towards doing less. So really, I just keep trying to do less and less and less and make more of that less. This week, I have started working on saying no to one thing a day. Again, that was something my grandma recommended I do, like, years back, and I kind of forgot about it
