IMPRESSIONS OF AN EXPAT: She’s Gone

article image placeholderUploaded by @Marconorth
Every time a phone rings. I believe it will bring bad news. I don't pick it up as the sound jangles around empty rooms until it stops as a broken as it began. It happened again last week. The timing of this news is nothing short of insane. It's one thing to hear that someone you knew long ago has passed away, a high school teacher or someone from work. But we'd just begun to talk again

So thinking about you today and thinking about Molly and hoping that you will find closure and know that she is in a better place and she is happy and not suffering. And we will continue to be strong and hopefully get through this all together

And how I sometimes think about this, how the people who pass, how maybe they're more accessible now than they were before when they were inundated with human issues. Right? Whatever societal constructs now they're everywhere in our consciousness or in our dreams or accessible from other means. Or maybe through music

Thinking of you 🙏🏾📿♥️

Hello. Good afternoon, Marco. My sincere condolences. And thank you so much for saying Molly's name and sharing her story and your story. And that just playing bit of that piece at the end. I'll just send you my energy, my love. And these are the kind of times where there really isn't. There really isn't much that could be said, but I'm thinking of you. I bye

I'll announce stuff as soon as it gets real. But there's some really beautiful tributes in progress. She owns the International Bar. By the way, I know you're in New York. Originally. That was the bar that was in the music video Rolling Stones just writing on a friend. The location of the bar has changed a couple of times, but it's always been the International. So she owned the International. How's that for? We're local hero. Thank you, though
