Healing Process ( Where Do We Begin)

article image placeholderUploaded by @Luchianna
But we don't do enough to talk about the healing process. How do we come together? How do we hold people responsible, but give them the help that they need? I'm just going to put it out there

Another person, another situation will put a bandaid over the broken heart, but it will never repair it because you never took the time to heal. You never did. And I think that's why sometimes we go back to our ex. We go back to what's familiar. We indulge in other behaviors that's really not us. We selfmedicate. We blame because we're not healing. And this world needs a huge hug

And the other important piece is that the person embarking on their healing dirty understands that they are doing it for them. Not for anyone else, not for accolades from society, but completely and solely for them. Otherwise, if they do it for any other reason, it will not be successful. Because if they're not getting the response from society or other people that they were hoping to receive

When you cover something, it's not that you're covering up the parts of you that can be better. It's more like you're adding layers of improvement. And that's about healing, because healing, you hear the phrase scar tissue. It's when you're stronger than you were before because you're growing new skin over the parts that are wounded. So it's a very beautiful holiday in that it doesn't make you tabla rasa
