Are they here to teach us?

His son had gone to us too, and he's only really put his hands on me once or twice. I've seen a lot of stuff that just haunted me. But nevertheless, through my healing, my brain was able to put a lot of that tragic emotions to rest. So some of the good things can rise to the tough up. And my long walks in the woods, hugging trees, repurposing things, all that digging in the dirt

Hey, Lisa, thank you for answering this question so personally and so powerfully. You're a great example of the cycle of healing that can happen by framing it the way you are. It's really beautiful, and it could be disturbing. I agree with you to think that teachers can come in such disturbing forms, but it's a very evolved perspective, and I'm really honored that you're able to sort of identify it and share it with us. So thank you so much

And the reason why you choose your parents is because those are the very people that are going to help you get the lessons, work out the lessons in your soul that you need to. And that is why you've taken this next incarnation. And when I started to think about I was abused as a child, I had terrible things happen to me all my very much first half of my life. And I'm currently 47

Of course, that doesn't mean we haven't learned things from our parents, both good and bad also. But when we frame it as even the bad parts are things that we can learn from and grow from, that's really powerful and even, like, you're saying the good things, like your dad being an outdoorsy guy. My dad also is complete. Like, his favorite thing to do is garden. He's obsessed with trees and gardening
