Hello. One of the things I find most upsetting about living in the world is the lies and manipulation and the denial of so many people's humanity, so many people's stories, and how the how this storying that denies others humanity manipulates and can refuses and muddies the water, right? So for me, the work you're doing is so important because I refuse to be manipulated by this. I refuse to dehumanize others by not knowing their story or their contributions
I think it was shocking to one again hear what human beings can justifiably even though it's not justifiable, but what they can justify for themselves to do to others, for greed and for power and control. It's really astonishing. There's no other word for it. Disgusting, maybe. But yeah, it's happened time and time again. There's a big graphic going around online right now

They say, oh, no, it was built on liberty. It was built on the Constitution. Yeah, but the Constitution? Yeah. You wrote some pretty words, but it didn't apply to everyone in America. So anyway, I'm so grateful that you take the time to listen to my swells. Thank you so much

I do remember learning about well, back in the day, back in school, back in the day, it was touched on briefly, but even just that brief moment brought sadness and anger because this means that one group of human beings did this to another group of human beings. And it's just horrendous. And I don't even think that is an apt enough word for it, just horrendous. And interestingly enough, my sister and I, we're starting to read Killers of Flower Moon together

I'm tired of kids getting taught history that isn't true. And then we walk around and we make the same mistakes because we don't know the past, not truly. Right there with you. I actually posted something on my TikTok account the other day, is like, we're failing an open book test right now, right? I mean, we've got all the history, and we're freaking failing the test. So just, you know, people like us just need to keep speaking up, telling the truth, and forcing the stagnant power that doesn't want to listen to here. Right?
