When Children No Longer Feel Safe

I'm all for people and their rights to bear arms. That's not what this is about, but it's about our children feeling safe. There have been so many shootings within the past several weeks, mass shootings, and the one that really all of them tugged at our heartstrings. But the one that I think really tugged the hardest was those poor babies in school getting ready to start their summer vacation and they never got to see the end of the day. When is enough enough?

I think that's the most healing part of this experience that we need to embed in our lives every day is to feel seen and heard and understood and connected to people who are like minded. And I don't want to create silos and Echo Chambers, but sometimes mentally, we need to know that we are not going crazy and that we can express and express our fears and our desires. And I'm going to a big event today to talk about voting

Hi, Kimberly. Thank you for sharing this story. I think it's really important more than ever to hear these kind of DayToday reallife experiences that impact you and the children children and the atmosphere of safety and even like a frozen yogurt store, all I can say is it sounds like you're doing the best that you can to protect your children and give them the education, the knowledge on how to handle situations

But I think that's another conversation. What's really sad to me is you hear people talk about in a humorous way. When I was in school, I had to walk uphill both ways. X number of miles barefoot, et cetera, et cetera. Right. And then there's the times when I grew up where we would hide under the desk in case of a bomb, but it was distant. We did it because we were told to
