Why I am who I am
You just have to know how to receive that type of love, that agape love that God has for us. Now, the reason why I'm putting these two in together, because for a while now, I've been tossing back and forth, like I will listen to a certain song or come across my path, and then next thing you know, I'm listening to secular music for a certain time frame

I will tell you, because God give us discernment, god give us the understanding of what's right and wrong. He put us here to enjoy life abundantly. If I want to go to a concert, I go to a concert, whether it's Kim, Uncle Joe, Joe, Uncle Charlie, love gospel, a diehard gospel fan, but sometimes I want to listen to the love balance, I want to listen to a nice jazz, I want to listen to some R and B blues

But it does bring pleasure to God or brings Him joy in his heart when he see us at peace, especially when we're not stepping out his will, listening to certain songs and just being happy to enjoy our day or whatever. I think that music is so imbued with love that the two are almost inextricably linked. Like, you can't separate the two, especially when you hear music coming from people who are singing gospel because they're in such ecstasy and such joy. But there are so many people that observe different kinds of spirituality and they find their way into music because of their need to find a way to express their joy or their sorrow, for that matter, or their curiosity or their connection to love
When I'm listening to songs or to music, I really get into the melody of it. It takes me to a certain place where I just find relaxation in it, and it's soothing for me. I've been having a hard time these past couple of months, and God is the one and only that has continued to keep bringing me through when I feel like giving up. But he let me not to be ashamed of the music I listen to

It's because I don't walk around with the Bible in one hand and a tablet in the other to kind of like write down the things that you're doing wrong and use the word to beat you up or condemn you. It's ridiculous. But I like all type of music, and people need to I guess once people come into themselves, right, it's an awakening

But I think as a Christian, as a man of faith, like I said, my old school R, it's good medicine. So that's my little input about the difference between church religious and spiritual, gospel songs and circle music
Think about what happened. Hey, good afternoon, and happy Monday. I thank you for your honesty and your openness about the two genres, the two genres of music that is spoken on today that you commented on rather. And I'm not into the secular music, whereas they're doing a lot of mocking and speaking on promiscuity and weapons and killing and being just downright sinful. No, I'm not entertaining that type of music
