You last week, I attended many, many meetings, most of them too long, with my colleagues and university administrators, hashing out plans for the year and discussing different initiatives about education, et cetera, all in preparation for the coming week when our classes at the University of Utah are beginning. And I endure those meetings, and I'm not saying they're not important, a lot of important work gets done in them, but I'm not good at sitting for long periods of time

And I know you're one of them, and I know it probably makes you squirm to hear the word divinity, but what I mean by that is the ability to channel great ideas and package them in a way that's accessible to other people. It's such a gift. It's such a gift. And I've taught here and there, but I've never done it with the continuity that you have. And it's really extraordinary

Hello, Catherine. It's so great to connect again on one of your swells after what is a very long time. I've been dealing with a couple of life situations and haven't really found the time to swell. But it's great to connect. And let me just say, I admire the dedication and the pain that you're willing to go through for your profession and for your students. And that was an amazing poem

I actually really love what I do, and I'm just reminded that no matter how much we love our work, there are always these little things that we would prefer not to do. But how spoiled would we be if we never had to do anything that we found a little disagreeable? So anyway, I'm done with a big week of meetings. I've been in the classroom several times already this week, and I'm feeling delighted. Thank you

I'm through the meetings, good news, good news. And embarked on the fun, wonderful work, which is the work of the classroom. I see that not as expressing what you might call my divinity or you might call I know you know that I don't have much truck, necessarily, with languages of spirituality, but I very much believe that we all have such a deep intelligence in us, and we all have an inner spark
