Who’s a pretty bird?
By that I mean both the inside of our houses and maybe the insides of our hearts with animals, a parade of them over the years. And right now we have an indoor dinosaur, a little Senegal parrot who is called Henry. He's our pandemic parrot. I'm going to read just a couple of poems from the new book that are both about Henry and what he brings to us. The first one is called Sick of Grief, especially mine

It's it's I just want to scream from the rooftops that this is happening. You're so gifted and so, so lush and so personal and so it's like it fits in my mouth so beautifully.
