So she refused to take me home, but I couldn't stay with her. I guess. I don't know, maybe she was having her boyfriend over, whatever. So I set out on foot. Actually, the plan, now that I think of it, was I was just going to walk down to the bus stop and take that home. But they stopped the buses. We didn't know that up front. We just knew that she didn't want to bring me back

I really appreciate what you experienced and what it, how it sits for you now, which is that sometimes strangers can be kinder than friends. Hope not always, but in some situations, that's what happens. Thanks
