Apologies

article image placeholderUploaded by @Jeremiah73
I think the world would be so much better if we remembered that simple lessons we learned when we were young, that if we've done something that isn't kind, that we apologize. I work at an elementary school, and I hear kindergartners and first graders apologies to one another all the, you know, as a rule, those children really get along well with one another

We all mirror each other, whether we know it or not, and offering up this as a swellcast, also as a swell conversation. I feel like you're also saying that in this culture, we can be aware of possibly overstepping or hurting each other or saying something that we didn't mean to say. And how beautiful is that? That we can say, wow, I didn't know that was hurtful, or, I'm sorry. I was so full of conviction when I was actually wrong

Thanks for this, jeremiah. Yeah, I could not agree more. It's a simple thought, but it's something that's very hard for people to do, to recognize when they need to apologies. So I really, really like this topic. Thank you. Definitely hope that it's something we can all do and not find it such a difficult thing. Thanks again. Bye
