#TellYourStory | A person who is making a difference in my community...

article image placeholderUploaded by @Isoellen
He was known as someone who, he has an incredible singing voice, and he would sing at police funerals and mayor functions and other functions where he would wear his uniform. And those investigations were about wearing his uniform at a function that was not sanctioned by the police. He is a person who was making a difference in our community, but he was stopped. And it just breaks my heart sometimes it's hard to do the right thing

You know what? You telling his story is part of the next maybe chapter of his legacy. Maybe bringing his name into this space, he could feel appreciated and respected and seen. That's all we can offer each other sometimes. And I'm really sorry that he was so. It seems like he was gaslit, blind sided, all those things. And I hope he's at peace with who he is. That's the most important thing. And you're very kind to tell his story

In the marines, there were things I didn't say and yeah, I don't think he's going to be forgotten. Button he's touched a lot of lives in positive ways in spite of not getting public office, and he inspired a lot of people and a lot of kids. But thank you for providing a place where I could share his story
