#TellYourStory | One thing that always fills me with wonder...

article image placeholderUploaded by @Isoellen
There isn't just one thing swell. It's the long grief of lovers who lose each other and the joy of finding each other again. It's the taste of tiramisu on your tongue. It's that birthday cake from childhood that you remember but never can get quite right again. Or grandma's pot roast, which no matter what you do, you can't replicate. It's biting into a perfect peach, the juice running down your chin and staining your shirt

But in all the creative communities that use apps, and I see it in all the prompts, when they tell you to write a tiny story or describe this picture in a few words, like, inspiration could be regulated that way, and it just makes me cringe. I can't imagine any of the writers that I love so much responding to any of those, actually. But that's the world we live in now. I'm just glad for what you wrote or what you said

Hey, good morning. This is Stephen again, and I apologize for replying twice to the same thread. I do feel like I have to walk back my first reply a little bit, though, because it came out maybe as negative or I had no intentions of offending or it's not a knock on whoever started the thread

And so I kind of went off, and I meant to answer you, but I went off on a tangent and thinking about it, and I didn't get back to you. And I'm very sorry for that, for leaving you hanging, feeling like maybe you had replied too strongly or something, because you didn't. Your opinion and your thoughts and your ideas are very valid. And I started thinking about outlines. I write stories and novels and I really do not like outlines
