‘Pig,’ a stunning Nicolas Cage film, is on Hulu

One could imagine this as taken, but with a Pig, nothing could really be further from the truth. This is a complex, tricky, hard to pin down movie in terms of genre. It shifts between a sensitive character drama, revenge thriller in some ways a food p*** comedy of sorts and a sensitive sort of tale of martyrdom, redemption and loss. It's something that really blew me away when I watched it

One of the year’s most surprisingly transcendent films is now streaming.

You got me! I’m gonna press ▶️ Thank you! @isaacfeldberg

Isaac, thank you so much for this review. I literally just read the description for Pig. And I was like, no, I can't do this. And now listen to you. You've given me, like, all this depth that I wouldn't have got from that just little brief description they have on Hulu. Maybe they do that intentionally. I don't know. But I feel like they could have tried a little harder with that description because I definitely had

Thank you @PKBriggs

I think I completely understand why you hesitated reading the description because it does seem kind of off the top, just like, kind of a smaller, less interesting Nicholas Cage film. But I really think there's something special about it, and I'm excited to hear your take on it. I agree with you. I think Nicholas Cage is one of those actors who is good when he has the material to work with and he can sense it

So beautiful and there are definite SPOLIERS🚨🚨 in this response - sorry.

But he was obviously like, this amazing, phenomenal chef, a person. He was like he was his actual crap. He said he remembers every meal he's ever made in every person. And then to the point of and I was like, thinking, I don't know if this is going to be a spoiler or not. Whoever listens to this. Sorry

Absolutely loved. Thanks to @Taylor!

I ended up seeing this film in the theater over the summer when it came out and we had a nice moment there where it was safe to be in the theaters or at least safer. And it was, I think, the first film I had seen in the theater for the longest period of time due to the pandemic. And I saw it purely because Taylor said, hey, you really have to go see this. And I did and 100% cried like he warned me
