Hey, this is Erica J with Bun Bun's Book Picks, and I hope all of you have been doing well. I wanted to just give an update on the novel that I have been reading called The Love of My Life by Rosie Walsh. She's also the author of Ghosted, which is also another very popular book. And I don't want to tell so much what's going on in this book because a lot is going on

And it's just a beautiful relationship between a beautiful boy named Raymond Jaffe and connecting with an older, older 92 year old blind woman in his building. I wasn't blown away by the actual writing of it. It's very simple writing. My mother recommended it from her book club, and I don't know, for the first half of the book, I was like, oh, it's sweet. I think I know where this is going

Hey, Deborah, thank you so much. Oh my goodness, you're starting something now. Because I did not think of that for a long time. I've been wanting to do like a book club where I wanted people to chime in with their thoughts about certain passages and things like that. And I know we all read different things or people may not like the book pick or they may like the book pick. So I've always been afraid to venture out and just see

I also forgot to mention, Deborah, thank you for sharing that book that you're reading. I see the COVID of it, so I'm definitely going to add that to my TBR list. Thank you so much

Oh, my God. Like, just like, listening you talk about this, like, makes me legit want to buy this book. Like, I love when there's books that kind of have a title, but then it's, like, twisted. I don't know if you ever heard of now I forgot the name of it. Wow. Verity by Colin Coham

And also, yes, this book is very interesting because lately I've been reading a lot of mangas and poetry, so I wanted to go back to reading just fiction. And, yeah, this one is a trip. I think the author is based out of the UK and she has another book out called Ghosted, but this one is really interesting because I'm going to tell you now, it's a lot going on in it. So, yeah, I highly recommend it
