How do we turn negatives into positives?

He kept saying, I can't do it, I can't do it. And I said, you're not going to do it because you say you can't say, I can do it, and then see what happens. The first try, he said, I can do it, he whispered to himself. And then guess what? He did the thing that he wanted to do. Hey, it's not magic. It's just attitude. You got to have a good one

So an analogy I like to use is when people are on a train and the train is announced that there's going to be like a 20 minutes delay, and you'll get the first group of people and they'll kind of sit there and they'll tucked and get themselves worked up and kind of get really angry and kind of get themselves into a really bad frame of mind about it. Then you get the second group of people who are quite pragmatic, and they will make a phone call

Hi, Jennifer. I just stopped by and listened to your spell. I mean, this is such a wonderful topic you spoke on, you know, how to turn negatives into positive. And I really like that. You mentioned that the attitude matters. Yes, of course, if you have a right attitude, if you have a positive attitude, then you can change the negative thoughts that you have. That is what is I think we call positive affirmations

Once we take accountability and we decide within ourselves that we have a a positive attitude and b positive solutions formulated from that positive attitude, then we can change the outcome to hopefully something that is good for us and good for others at the same time. And I do find that having that positive attitude that it doesn't just come out of the thin air, you are what you eat kind of thing

So I think that people's reactions are just merely symptoms of a deeper, deep rooted problem that lies in their subconscious of they've had a steady diet, their subconscious has had a steady diet of this negativity. And so at some point, all of us have to wake up to our subconscious and the contents in it and say, I don't want to live like this anymore. I mean, we really do have to stop and pose the question to ourselves initially and then daily after that

But then over time but then over time, I think what happens is perspectives change and we change and we can see opportunities that evolve because room is created for them. It's like the cliche of lemonade from lemon, but the innovation that it requires to make lemonade, it's not just about pushing through and finding a solution. It's really about letting time reveal that something is more of an opportunity than we thought in the first place

So I can relate to that. Good stuff, for sure. Yeah. Focus on the solution, focusing on the can the mindset and all that with your son. Interesting perspective. Just wanted to run past you. A negative. What is a negative? Is there such a thing as something being negative?

Wow, Deborah, what an amazing reply. By the way, I love lemonade. And not the sweet kind, the real sour kind. So I completely appreciate adding that element of time in the discussion. And so glad that you did, because really, time equals wisdom. I mean, you have to put some miles on the timeline before we really can process anything correctly. And I say correctly, I mean deeply. Time is a great teacher

Hey, Brad, thanks for your reply. It's amazing. Maybe we should start I dropped my phone down a drain club because that blew me away. That you experienced the same thing. In any case, yes, I completely agree, and I appreciate the value of that question. What is a negative? What really is a negative of well, what a great thing. To add to this discussion, deborah added the concept of time, and you're adding the concept of what is a negative
