Why Does Digital Wellness Matter?

article image placeholderUploaded by @HeatherB
That's ways that we can reduce the negative effects that people are talking about, and then we can enjoy the benefits that technology has to offer. So digital wellness really matters because technology is such a big part of our lives today. It's going to be forever in my eyes. And our Tweens and teens right now need to build up those habits and understand. So it's important we make sure we're using it in a way that supports our health and happiness rather than detracting from our lives

But when I think about the power of voice and I think about the conversations here, I do think about the deepest part of that cyber connection that can be so healing and so beautiful. And I think your Swell cast is really going to teach us the nuance of this relationship with our phones and with our devices. So I'm really looking forward to continuing hearing you here and hearing other people's struggles and really looking at them very specifically

And that makes a huge difference. I've done massive cleanouts and my Twitter group is over 3000. But it's people I want to hear from, it's educators. And I mean, I am an educator, so it's tech people, it's a lot of positivity, helping out solutions, innovation ideation. And I absolutely love it. And I have to say, Facebook, yes, I love it as a personal page, my personal profile

And I think that's what I'm missing on some of the other platforms in groups, I really like the ability to actually hear someone's voice and have these conversations back and forth and be intentional about who I want to listen to. So thank you so much and look forward to talking to you soon
