A job in college ?

article image placeholderUploaded by @gracepouri
Or if you're thinking of getting a job, are you afraid it's going to impact your school? Mine used to impact my school until I finally was like, I'm quitting. And then they were like, okay, you can just tell us when you can actually work. Because I was getting scheduled three or four days a week. And I was like, I can't do this. It's making me behind because I personally was not good at time management when I got my job originally

Hi. So thank you for asking this question. I'm from India and specifically West Bengal and I am a private tutor. So I have to take tuitions two batches on Saturday and on Sunday. Also, I have one batch. So I've limited myself to taking tuition only on Saturdays and Sundays because those are the weekends and that is the day on which I don't have any College

I’ve had a job all throughout college!

And then my second quarter also, my freshman year was entirely with COVID, so it was like virtual. I didn't really have any in person classes. I had a couple, but nothing like serious. So I spent my entire day on Zoom, which was kind of a bummer for me and like seeing with clubs and everything. They were all online. So my second quarter, I'm on the quarter system at Cal Poly. I was like, you know what? I'm kind of bored

Keeping a job in college will definitely test your time management skills

I mean, the kids aren't in school on the weekends, have the weekends off. And obviously at first I was worried that it might interfere with school, but I was able to kind of quickly realize Monday, Wednesday I have to get most of my school work done because when I get back home from work I need at least an hour to detox from dealing with kids. And then sometimes I'm like too tired and I don't want to look at any sort of assignment
