KoJack (4/15/17-1/13/21) An acrostic poem shared on World Poetry Day.
You. Good evening. I was inspired to read a poem tonight. Inspiration came from Helen Diaz at Helen Inspires and it's an acrostic poem using my dog's name, Kojak. He had to be put down. Still breaks my heart. It's been a couple of years after I wrote this. I've only read it once. I've read it a couple of times tonight and I am prepared to share it. I have not studied poetry
We've been communicating about our backgrounds, and you've shared some things, and I share my life. And I just want to thank you for this connection. Continue the work. Poetry is healing. Poetry is therapy, and use it to help you through your journey, no matter where you're at. And I'm so grateful for you for sharing that and taking the time to write that. Keep doing that. It was beautiful. Thank you
