Healing, Grief & The Creative Process
You. Nothing has been more revealing to me than getting to see all of me surface on the canvas or at the art table. And this was a practice I discovered many years ago, and I still utilize it today. Working within a creative process, such as intuitive painting or process painting, has been very healing. It's been a transformative and powerful experience, and I love sharing this practice with others. So I had met a friend many years ago that was going through a really big life transition

Melissa, thank you so much for this specificity of this moment of your life and the creative process as a beautiful tool, I guess, or journey to help heal, to help put yourself on a path. There are so many beautiful conversations on Swell about grief, and I just feel like what you're tapping into specifically around sort of that right. Brain experience is so valuable
You. Hi, Deborah. Thanks for chiming in. This is still a new platform for me, so I'm kind of trying to find my way around, and I'm excited to be here. This is so wonderful. It has such a very expansive space to explore all the creative things that I love creating and having conversations around. So I'm excited to explore the community and meet like minded souls like yourself. And I'm also excited to hear about your book
