My favorite restaurant in LA was called Mishima. Now, Mishima was near the Beverly center and it was in a strip mall. But it was the most unbelievable japanese food and the most amazing restaurant that I think I've ever been to Japanesewise. And I can tell you that I'm a snob because we grew, spending time growing up in Australia, which has so much amazing asian food

Oh, I loved Mishima, and I miss it also. And I think that the memory you have of how it connected your son to eating delicious food is so precious. Maybe there's another one. That's a good hunt. I'm sure people have examples of great places like that that exist that we haven't found yet. So I'll be on the hunt
