My Old Cassettes

article image placeholderUploaded by @GailN
They play the best music and a lot of music. Today radio is not as good as it was then. They play a handful of songs over and over again. I'm not hearing much of anything because music is not as good as it used to be. That is why I enjoy listening to my old cassette's. I can choose from a variety of music on Spotify, Iheart or Pandora. But on the old cassettes I can hear the countdown. I don't hear American top 40

I feel inspired listening to my old cassettes.

I used to remember putting your pencil inside the little cassette so you can fix it when it broke. You just got to turn it and get it back on track. Those little memories, those private moments when you're you're just being your own little DJ. So beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your nostalgia and your commitment and your current day reality, which is so cool, really wonderful. I love the picture you chose also. Thank you

And it just brings back those good where things were so simple. I didn't realize how simple they were. But they were so simple back then, because all I needed was my fresh cassette tapes. A very nice, non nubby pencil that could fit into the little hole so I could get the tape back on track where I used to take the pencil and put it in the hole, twist it, get it back where it needed to be

Hello. Thank you for the kind comments. And thank you for listening. It means a lot, and it's so nice to meet you. Yes, I remember those days about the pencil. I remember when I tried using a little bit of Scotch tape to mend the tape back together, but the quality of the sound was wasn't quite as good in the spot. I mended. Those were good old days, and I am happy that you enjoyed listening. Thank you so much

I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your podcast. I am a nostalgia lover and in fact, my first swell that I made yesterday is old cassettes tapes as well. I grew up in the nineties old cassettes tapes and mixed tapes was like the height of media having to rewind or fast forward to find your favorite track. With so much work right now, you just press skip or you just click on the song you want to listen to

Hello. I enjoyed your comments. Sometimes the B side did sing better. If you recorded the songs on the cassettes. Maybe songs got better as you went along and recording them. I don't know. And you're right. We can just press skip or or click on the songs we want to listen to. Things have gotten a lot easier to do. We don't have to work hard anymore. But still, I love listening to the hard work. There's something about it
