Thought Grenades | Is One God Enough?

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
Those are just a couple of denominations I just listed right there. You have some that feel Mary Magdalene was an important part to the story, the greatest version. So they can treat her sort of like a god and worship her with idolatry and means of, you know but it's still pretty much as one god. It's monotheistic. But is that conducive to growth oath? In this day and age of diversity be in the norm? Should we too, begin to diversify our gods once again?

Should Faith Be Diverse Or Not? #ThoughtGrenades #religion

@FryedOreo: Utilitarian worldview…

It is interesting that with very brief search into the identity of the monotheistic god of the Christian faith, that we would find that God, one person or one entity, one deity has a lot of different names. Not only does he have a lot of different names, but he also has a lot of different names which signify individual attributes. So, for example, Jehovah Gyra is a god who provides. L Roy is a god who sees

@lwatsonjrthank you so much! 🙏

So you were certain in your faith, but I'm sure you have your doubts every now and now and again, which is what keeps your faith intact. But there's been a lot of wars, a lot of blood, a lot of imperialism. In the name of the Lord, in the name of the prophet, in the name well, of most of the Judius, Bake, Abraham, the Books of Abraham, or whatever. I'm a little foggy on my terminology for religion, sorry

Hey, sisu. This is Rev LJ Pride oreo, I think you got a hot one with this woman. So boom. Ghost. Dynamite. This conversation is about to be really interesting. I can't wait to hear your response. Let's go. This is going to be fun

So the God, yes, I have God and me through man, because man is made in God's image and I was made from man, so I have God in me, but he was directly made from God's image. Men are directly made from God's image. So therefore you have a higher responsibility to be Godlike and to do the right thing and to have purpose and to actually be like have things going for yourself so that you have a plan for a woman to be a helpmate too

Ahsa, sue, thank you for stopping by on this conversation and also contributing to the audio in reply form, but you didn't really answer the question. Thank. Great stuff by the way. But is one god enough? Is spirituality meant to be monotheistic?

@Her_Sisu: Pulling another pin…

So we continue to sort of add on to he's a doctor when you're sick, he's a lawyer when you're in trouble. Anyway, that's Baptist tradition, Protestant tradition in the preaching tradition. But I digress. I wanted to add this to this wonderful gumbo of a conversation pride, Oreo, since I'm the first bodied to land on this grenade today, let's talk about the triune God

@lwatsonjr thank you my good sir! 🙏

And sadly, we don't have Jesus Christ here to tell us exactly what it was as he did his disciples back then, right? We don't have him here to be like, oh, no. When I said this, I meant this. It's all open to interpretation. And with that interpretation comes good intentions, right? Great intentions. But so too our cult leaders, so too are TV evangelists. So too are black capitalists masquerading as religious folk

Intriguing swell Dewuan as well as the conversation that's followed. The thing that stuck out to me as I was listening to everyone, though, was not so much about whether there is one god or are many gods or what their quote unquote, would be or shouldn't be

Christina, thank you so much for not only participating in this will, but listening to all the conversations above. Yes, it's the taboo topic of any social media platform religion, God. And I didn't want it to seem as though there is one true answer, because there ultimately isn't. What speaks to one spirituality is more powerful and deep connecting than what any topical conversation can arise from. Swell. But it was still one that I thought of nonetheless

I did. And I did not answer the question. I answered in, like the flurry of thoughts that your swell cast prompted in my head. So then I started thinking about man being made in God's image

Maybe God will have a wife and she becomes a god and somehow they're both equal. Or maybe they have their own special abilities. Who knows? I'm just making up stuff. But yeah, what's interesting is that you would think that the Hebrew Bible would be the first, right? The Hebrew Bible started it all. Judaism started it all. It is the beginning of basically Christianity. Christianity is a part two of Judaism, right? With Christianity. They believe that Jesus is God

De. Marcus, thank you for contributing to this fun topic. And that is, is one god enough? And as you said, said, it is far easier to believe in one god because that concept seems so cool. Many gods combined into one. It seems so right. So can we deduce from this a theory that perhaps man, the mortal, has to work with many to achieve their goals?

Hey, bro, you know, I need to make, you know, another post on this. You know, I've got a reply twice, but I wonder if religion, organized religion, wonder if it's the backbone of civilization. And without organized religion, there may be no need to conquer, no need for conquest. I mean, there will always be some sort of form of conquest, right? Nearby neighbors conquer their land. But a lot was like the roman empire
