Deep Nudes?

article image placeholderDeepfake bots on Telegram make the work of creating fake nudes dangerously easy
I'm guessing the tech they described as in the article, but I didn't actually get this from the article itself. I got it from my forum thing, so I found something related to it, but I guess it operates on, like, 100 bots out there of nudes out there already in the public eye, and it's able to take into account the proportions of the body. And it kind of gives this estimation of what their nude would look like

So an individual probably has very little defenses against this unless they completely stay away from the public view anybody's at risk. I don't know. Maybe our society is going to have to change to adapt, because just by anybody who's going to have access to that, right. That technology. I don't know what's going to happen. Interesting. Interesting topic

That kind of thing. I don't know. But the one thing I think we all know about tech, you cannot unring that Bell once it's out there. That's it. That's it

Thanks for the responses @AbeMartinez and @AverageJoe

Hello, gentlemen. Abe Martinez and Average Joe, thank you so much for responding to the swell. I can't tell you how shocked I was at how accurate this particular software makes these pictures look. Yeah, it was crazy, but at the same time, it seems like we're heading in a place of technology to which this is just something we're going to have to settle with. I don't know if we can really rectify it in any way

Memoirs and Misinformation

I guess I'm trying to say is it's a fictional story, but it does kind of point toward what might be coming down the line, thinking that misinformation is going to be really difficult to combat. And this is definitely a big one

Scary times. @AbeMartinez

So over a course of time, they would get them to change their story to fit the narrative that the cops are looking for to land a case or whatever. So I guess in a way, these deep, nudes and deep fakes is a necessary evil. I think it's just what's supposed to happen, our reliance on this technology to legitimize us, the camera being the perfect proof of evidence right in the court of law. Now it's going to be a tinge of doubt to it

Well, at first think I'd like to say this all seems really wrong to me morally and like, yeah, that's kind of just makes me feel kind of back to my stomach to think someone could do this or take a picture or have a picture of someone and then do that deep new thing. And you could really use that to your advantage in a lot of ways, not only to please yourself for whatever gross thing you want to do with that, but also blackmail

Antidote- Diane Benscoter

I know you're probably getting tired of my voice, but I just wanted to share because it's all part of this whole misinformation thing and disinformation. I don't know if those mean the exact same thing. I don't think so. There has to be two words for a reason, right. But I was just listening to an NPR story where it's a recent story

Somet things to consider surely @LenaFoster 🤔

As I said, I did see that Medea Tyler Perry won, and it indeed showed that there was no breast to be had with the Medea character. That was really just a man's chest underneath. So that's very accurate. Scarily accurate how it can depict. I'm guessing certain the way how the shirt folds to this body. It can depict that maybe based upon this, this is how their chest will look sort of thing. It also does it for the woman's genitalia as well

We’re all addicted now. @AbeMartinez

Now that something like this was just to inevitably occur and happen, how fast these computers are these days and how much computational data they can complete with tasks which used to take before months. When you hear about how they made Jurassic Park or even The Abyss or Terminator Two Judgment Day, you hear about how long it took to do those special effects. You can do that s*** now on your phone. They have apps that do that stuff
