Mental Strength vs Mental Health

article image placeholderBeing Mentally Strong Isn't the Same As Being Mentally Healthy. Here's Why
But you deal with these things as they come and you try to enjoy life. It's just sometimes with the enjoyment, we need a bit of the sadness so that we can enjoy it a little more. And with that sadness, we don't just push it to the side. We don't bottle it in. We examine it, we look at it and we put it in a case as a reminder of what it is that we need to continually work on until our last breath

Umbrellas and mind reading

Now, mental health is a very separate conversation because even though mental wellness is a bigger umbrella under mental wellness, I believe lives mental health. I think that mental health is a function of delivering to your system the goodness of spiritual health, chemical health, great attitude, great environment, all the things that bring you a general mental wellness. But if you're mentally unhealthy, let's say it's a chemical imbalance. You got to address that, just like you address diabetes

It's just I am a realist in the same regard when it comes to situations and outlooks. And I do feel it is important to talk about the various types of moods and why they happen because it's for a reason. There's a reason why we are sad. We are programmed to be sad or angry. These are important building blocks to character. It's not something we should completely annex out of our system. I don't think that's the solution. I think that's more so
