MotiWaver: Lift The Salt

It wasn't really that big of a deal to me, but for him, it was because he had to do it on his own. He had those traumatic memories of doing it on his own and no one helping them out. But help was right in front of them. He just didn't want to do it. But I sort of convinced him that we should do it. He said if the guy was there, he would have been able to do it in a minute

The longer you avoid the things you don’t like, the less you’ll like the things you love. #adversity

You had a swell the other day in which you were casually doing a swell, and I think there was some background noise of a woman and you casually said Hello and just had a friendly interaction with her. And that small thing might have just brightened her day. A friendly civilian or perhaps co worker? I don't know

So this is my second thought that I wanted to follow up and that is your advice on the past and how the past can affect you in the future. And I would want to say that this is a really good tip because I find myself at times thinking about past experiences and then not wanting to do something in the present because of that negative Association with that past experience. And so I myself am going to attempt to overcome such thoughts. But this was my contribution

Kindness and patience towards self and others

And I think just the conversation around the father time marches on and our ability to sort of be overwhelmed by it getting longer and longer away from when the issue started. So when there's procrastination involved, it's usually fraught with sort of a personal damning. Which is the worst part of procrastination is when you're upset with yourself that you're not getting on something

Thank you @Professor42

First, with the past events, him having to kind of do this all on his own, and he had to carry it for a longer duration of time than what was required yesterday when I was with him. And thank you so much for the pallet, Jack. I couldn't think of it to save my life. But obviously, you're very familiar with working retail pallets are just very commonplace

Baby steps @FryedOreo

Dawan. Thank you for the tip. And I think I'm going to continuously force myself to try and speak a little bit more naturally. At heart. I am sort of of a perfectionist. I want to be perfect. And I realized that we, as humans, were not perfect. But for me, it's always sort of been my thing, like I want to be orderly and perfect and things like this

Thank you @DBPardes

Deborah, thank you as always, for contributing to the swell. And you are absolutely right. And that was the first time I had seen him. You know, me and him were really cool, by the way. I don't know if I had mentioned that he bought me some food food randomly, didn't ask for it, but he heard me talking about this particular restaurant chain called Raising Canes

@DBPardes

Deborah, I also did want to take the time to respond to you as well. I am somebody that is always striving for constant improvement, and even if it does make me uncomfortable, I will still seek ways to overcome and think of a way to achieve that goal. And even though this goal is trivial, I'm going to try and take your tips and advice and sound more natural. One of the things that I said in my previous swell to Dewuan is I'm somewhat of a perfectionist

Perspectives the ripple

It's so interesting when you have the layers of experiences kind of showing up in one particular moment where there's a total obvious like, hey, I'm right here. But the protocols and the rules and stuff like that sometimes you just feel like you're inside a matrix with laws that don't really connect to who we are as people. But it's a really great scenario to just examine and look at from so many different sides
