Opportunity, not just choices

And, hey, if you ain't got the credit, you ain't going to get it. So let's teach our little ones. And even more so, let's create something for them so when they do get that opportunity to get out there in the world and try to figure things out, we've given them a little bit of a head start, and we helped them to figure it out. Instead of them trying to do it on the fly or learn as they go

A start

So for people to feel like there's an anchor, a grounding, a rootedness, that's the point where you could start from. And your daughters are so lucky to have somebody who is thinking about those things because freedom is a little bit of not a double edged sword. But when you have choice, you need the grounding to know how to make choice. And it comes from a place of being taken care of and having models around you that have taught you what good choices look like

Just as a fresh off the press today, I met with a credit repair company and the task was daunting and the conversation was refreshing because it allowed me to know that there is resources out there, there's ways to get back on track and it's time to put on my big girl skirt on and make better decisions. So that I can model something different to my son

Right, but I love how Dr. Tony Evans says it's. Both It's a curse and a choice, but you're making choices based on the limited options that you have. And I think that when people keep doing the same thing as our parents, it's not necessarily a curse as much as we're choosing from all choose A or B and both are bad, but we choose A or B

Hi, Larry. It's wendy wnperspectives with wende. I agree with you. I definitely believe that we should set our kids up for success. And that's certainly one way to do it. As you mentioned, with life insurance and stocks. The credit part of it, I think, is really overall number one, because it's real interesting. I don't even recall growing up in my household ever even hearing anything about credit and credit scores

But I know that we're getting to that point where school savings accounts and other accounts, it's just so much to learn, let alone just in the transition of actually becoming a father. But anyway, I hope to learn more and more with you here, and I just wanted to show gratitude for being here. So thank you so much, and thank you for this post. I think you're doing a wonderful job

It's about so much, man, about what we're going to learn about ourselves. It teaches you so much about who you really are, not the facade, not who you were before the child, because that's going to be a totally different man than the father. You're going to be thrive in it. Enjoy the moments because they are fast and fleeting, I promise you. I literally remember the day of holding my two girls. Now they're 17 months old and attempting to talk

Hey, thanks for that response. I love the attention on not being so caught up in the future that you're not in the present. That's such a freaking huge reminder. I feel like if there's anything I'm going to need to remember, it's that. But who knows, maybe in the presence of the little one, it'll change me
