I just wanted to take this time to thank any and all of you out there on the Swell Cast network. Our veterans thank you for your service. My father was Department of Defense for 43 years in America, and I just wish we could move into a place where the military is doing the things that fortify the country and not destroy other countries. So we have to defend ourselves, and we have to also honor those who have fallen, but we also have to look at the future and say, what can we do better?

And I've had uncles that have served in the military. So it's all over our family. In fact, I have family members who served during the Revolutionary War. Anyway, thanks for sharing it. And thank you for the comments about me as a slow castle. I've only been doing this since May, so I'm still kind of a newbie. But it was nice to hear that I'm providing a voice and that you think I'm a good storyteller. Nice to hear that

To me, it's not about time off, it's not about three day weekend. It's nothing to do with that. It's a reminder of the sacrifices that were made. And I just respect you all so very much from the bottom of my heart. Sincere gratitude, appreciation and love for you all. Again. Happy Veterans Day. Thank you for making us feel safe

And during my time, which is I'm part of the Cold War era, this was long before veterans received anything after they left the service. There was no transition counseling. There was no transition programs. There was no, oh, here's $50,000 to go to college. There was no such thing. Or are you kidding me? When I went to college, it came out of my pocket. We didn't have the stuff they have today. They're spoiled rotten today
