Do you add value to peoples’ lives? If so, what does that look like?

So, all that being said, I just want to invite you to think about the ways in which you add value to the people in your lives, no matter what category they are in, in terms of your relationship with them in terms of whether they're whether you're in a covenant relationship with them, like friendship, or whether they are out of your inner circle. They're like, on the outskirts, they're an associate or coworker or what have you, or even a stranger

Hey, Barbara, I wanted to respond to this. It's a beautiful conversation, a beautiful topic, resonates with me so much because I know that there are some things that are much more sort of overtly clear in terms of roles. When we mentor somebody or when we volunteer and we are doing it out of service, the cycle of communication in that regard is pretty clear. Someone is saying, wow, thank you for your help, thank you for your mentorship, you really impacted me

Hey, Barbara. I just wanted to say that this is really an interesting topic. I think I've put a lot of effort into having value in my family and friendships. Of course everybody can have work on something and do better in areas. But I know in my heart that I've tried to be helpful and of value to close relationships

You. Thank you, Andrea, for your reply. You were definitely spot on as to what I was trying to convey, because sometimes you're right. We don't know how important it is for someone to receive a smile or a good morning or good afternoon or to say hi to a stranger because that in itself could make somebody's day

You. We barbara, what a topic. I think this is an amazing topic for all of us to reflect on and to really think about. And when you were talking about this, one of the relationships, or actually two of the relationships that I was thinking about were my children. So I have a daughter that's 26 and a son that's 23. And what's interesting about this, as I was thinking about it, I'm like, what value do I add to their lives?

@NeuTam

I thank you, Tami, for your reply. I'm always excited when I can ask a question and people are challenged by the question or it causes them to reflect on something or to really just take a look at maybe an area they haven't looked at for a while, or maybe not even at all. So thank you for your reply, your feedback, and it was cool, your perspective from a mom's perspective, thinking about your son and your daughter, and that's way cool
