Like, one day without eating, I just need to be distracted by day two. That's when I'm really like Derek in prayer and agony. I'm just like, yo, I don't know if I'm going to survive this, but when day three hits. When day three hits, when I start getting shaky, when I'm a little irritable, when I ain't got no energy, man, it's like the whole universe is just, like, flowing through me

Hey, Derek. I'm a big fan of the mindset inside a fasting day, and I really relate to this swell because I think that our bodies are cleaner, our minds are pure, and we're allowing more stimulus to come in that might be a little foggy. So I relate to this very much, and I never thought about in that term, but I think you're on to something

And I just, I don't know why, it just started making me feel repulsed about how much people eat. And so I decided I would go without eating and see how that went. I made it about four days with just water, but I was getting some bad headaches, so I switched to a juice fast. Well, it wasn't juice, it was a protein powder, a cup of milk and an egg

I can say just from personal experience, I've definitely done, like, three and four day fasts where I feel the difference in my meditation, like, to the point where I could drink water, and if I just, like, if I follow that feeling in my body, like, down to its course, I can just feel it flowing through me, and I'm like, you just can't do that kind of stuff on a full stomach

Im Im makes you look at energy different, right? Like the ability to, like, to get really happy, even really upset. Like, you got to think to yourself, I'm very fortunate to be able to go off the hamburger because if you ain't eating like that, you got to be very selective for what you put your energy towards because I can tell you I was calm, calm, calm
