#TellYourStory | PURE JOY! Experiences that got you high!

Greens and purples and pinks and blues and yellows just dancing and dancing out there, and it was just so spectacular. And I could have just frozen in that moment and stayed there for the rest of my life. It was so extraordinary. Even now, thinking about it, the complete 360 of that moment and the food and the hot tub and my celebration of being alive and another birthday. It was just a perfect moment. It was the highest moment for me up until that point

This was in between bands, by the way, so there was no music playing. So the noise reached the crescendo and the bubble burst high above the crowd in a puff of smoke, a couple of hundred feet above all these worshipping bubble heads. And just this huge cheer erupted. And it felt really good. It was powerful stuff. Never forgot that moment. My moment of glory in front of 10,000 people. That's all I got. Thanks for listening

And I was the one at the bottom receiving her while my sister had my cousin's legs open. So I actually received the baby into my arms. And I had to take the umbilical cord and take it from around her neck. And just to hear her scream out and the sound of her voice and just to know that she was alive and well was like pure joy. Blessings from heaven. It was like everything that we just risk was all worth it

So when I was really young, I joined the hockey team in my area and became a part of that program. And one of the greatest parts of that, that whole experience was a life changer, for sure. But one of the best moments that came with that whole thing. Sorry, my dogs are being loud. Hold on. Sorry, my dogs are being really loud

Naya, I thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful experience of being able to deliver a new human into the world that is a member of your family. That was just so heartwarming to hear and just, you know, it wasn't just you, but when you said yes, then another woman said yes. And another woman said yes

So my body was feeling really weak, and I just wasn't feeling that optimistic about life because of what the Lyme disease was doing to my body. But I said, you know what? There is an amazing sounding zip line there at the Falls, and I want to go do something that I can look back on and remember with pure joy in my heart. So I did. And I had families that was trying to talk me out of going way up high

And of course, afterwards I would retreat back to my room and open up a novel and sit by the light. But I could still hear the sounds of happiness. I could still smell the cocoa. I could still smell joy. I felt joy. And so it will always be a wonderful memory of mine. Of course, I have several other memories where I was elated as I hit my adult years, but I chose to go to my childhood on this one

Hey. I am so happy to hear these replies and all of them, but I'm doing a little housekeeping right now. Penelope, I'm tagging Naya to make sure that she heard your reply, because it wasn't tagged. And your reply was so beautiful to her that I wanted to make sure that she was able to hear it. So, Naya, just go back a few calls and you'll hear Peneloper's reply to you

And Erica, that pine tree image and the lights and the cocoa. Everything so visceral, so beautiful. This prompt has really reminded me of how important it is to isolate moments and not forget them, even if they're teeny. Teeny. And sometimes we're teeny little people and we don't know how much they stay in us until we're older and then we remember them and it breathes life right back into our story. I could smell that pine tree from here. Thank you

So I had an opportunity presented to me because my record was so good, and I performed above and beyond what they were expecting. And I was offered an opportunity to fly with Captain Acosta. He was one of the pilots in our squadron. And eventually, years later, I heard that he went on to Edward's flight test school. He was an excellent pilot, really fun guy, great personality. You wouldn't expect that, at least not from some officers. Some are pretty tough suits
