I'm standing in my backyard in Los Angeles, and the storm has passed, and I wanted to take a few pictures because everything is sort of coming back to life, and the wind whipped through, but without big damage. And this is just my little corner of the world. I know there's other areas that are really devastated, but here I'm just enjoying what feels like a tropical backyard

And even if there is hope, you recover from that pretty soon.
