And I was thinking about these people on the plane that died were going over to the west coast of Japan because they were there to deliver supplies. Because of the earthquake that's happened over there and that earthquake. We're learning more and more, but there are at least 50 people who are dead, but they're expecting a lot more

You will probably be smashed by the truck. Good people like me and everyone else on this app will be here for your loved ones. We will. But we'll meet again sometime. I think at least that's the hope that you hold on to, because heaven is just the hope that you'll be reunited with the ones that you have lost. God bless. I love everyone everywhere, all the time. Always, baby. Let's go. Bye

There's plenty of people in Japan that don't speak English, have never been to America. But yet in moments like these, we're all one. Whatever differences we have in culture and language, it doesn't even matter. We hear about tragedy, we know what those people are feeling. We know about fear, we know about it. It's a human condition

@DearAuntyAng

It. You are 100% right, Auntie Angen. You do perform a service for people. People come to you when they are in need because the wheels of government are slow and you probably bear a lot of pain for people, but you are doing a service and you are fulfilling your duty as a human being. I believe, and I wish there were more people in low school and federal government that were just like

Hey, Ange, I'm going to double down. What Rooster said about showing up and being a voice of reason and probably epic calmness when it comes to people's journey in the world of bureaucracy and government, that you are there on the front lines, interfacing with people and helping people, moments that might not be full of calm thoughts. It's interesting to interpret what service is and what sacrifice is. And giving up your privacy. Yeah, that's a sacrifice

Happy to have missed the Train!

But I would run to my child, and I had just gotten back to work, and the work was getting more. My mind was pulled to a child who had spent a year being premature, born at 27 weeks. So the work was different. My brain was swirling around in different ways. And the short of it is, one day I'm running to go pick up this little boy, and I did not hear the train, I did not see the train

We honor or Planet Mates by doing good work. Find our why. Mentorship #BeKind EachOneHelpsOne

And it is work that we define our existence. We can only hope they were doing what they love. But generally, folks that are doing that kind of work, you don't ever half step in that, in your heart. First responders, folks that go dig you out of the snow. And we love you and we think of you and we pray for you and your families. Yes. Send the good love all the way over there, guys. Let's send it. Thank you

I ran through the hallways to her, and when I got there, everybody was standing around watching, and so I was the only one trying to defend her. And in the meantime, I got hit by a two x four in the face and ended up getting 25 stitches above the eye. I feel that I sacrificed me getting hurt my life to help defend my sister, and there was no way that somebody was going to hurt her. No way

#TellYourStory #Sacrifice #Duty

I'm working in aviation. I learned about this rather quickly when it had happened. The articles and stuff was sent around the aviation shop that I work in. So we all was made aware of this. But to answer the question, what sacrifices have you made in the line of duty? You know, it depends on what is considered a sacrifice. A lot of people sacrifice time and things of that nature

You. Yeah. I'm very familiar with the term stop loss, sir. Few people know, I guess. Do people not know about that? Do people not know about stop loss that. Yeah. I'm happy that you're here to explain to them stop loss. It

@RoosterCollins

Now. I wasn't trying to explain stop loss to anybody. I was just answering the initial question about what are sacrifices. I was just replying to the originator of the thread, that's all. I wasn't trying to educate anybody on stop loss

You. Oh, no, sir, I was not. No, I was not criticizing you. You said that term and it popped back into my head and I remembered it. And then I remembered friends that were victims of stop loss in the military that had to stay. Yeah. No, I'm saying is that I forgot that that term existed. And when you said that term, it emotionally affected me because it brought back a lot of memories, because I heard. Yeah

That seems to have no reason to it. To be honest with you, while we were there, we all questioned what was going on and it was just a very unusual dark time

I think it is important that you say like what you just said is very important to say out loud because I don't think a lot of people recognize that the men and women that were on the ground fighting felt that way. And you think about how you felt that way, this war that had no purpose because we all know why we got into that war

From September 4 to September 7, we're having conversations with the recruiter, and he's saying, yeah, may we get you this debt program. We're going to get you in shape. And then around May, before the summer, you'll be going to boot camp. I was in boot camp September 24 because of what had just happened. So I wasn't in the debt program a good week before the country was attacked, right?

I'm so happy that you're home. I'm so happy that you don't have to be deployed in a sandbox anymore, as you so eloquently put it, for everybody in the world. I love you, brother, and I'm so happy that you made it out. I hope that all of our brothers and sisters that fought that horrendous, pointless fucking war come out of this AOK, and I want both me and you, man

Parents were picking their kids up from school. And unfortunately, some of my friends, family, some of their parents didn't get to pick them up from school. Unfortunately, that day they may have lost their parents and family. It's crazy, the trauma that me being a New Yorker, living and born and raised in New York City for 30 years, I still have family there, of course, lots of friends there

The war that we ultimately ended up fighting was absolutely fucking pointless. And if this is the world that we have to live in now, what was it all for? But I tell you this now, and I speak for both for myself and every man that lives today that live through that bullshit, his evil will never prevail because I didn't go and fight last time, but I will fucking definitely be fighting this time. Evil and terrorism and this horseshit will not prevail. It will not prevail
