I don't know if anybody else is feeling that way. I just don't typically agree with how we're learning. I don't know how to fix it. I think I would really enjoy more focusing on understanding concepts and why they're important to our world today, rather than trying to get that good grade or trying to just focus on what the teacher is saying for that good grade

I think that someday we're going to be, like, talking to kids that are in school and be like, yeah, back in our day, we had to do, like, tests and, like, we weren't allowed to be ahead. So I have hope

Additionally and lastly, I guess I'd like to say that test taking is not everyone's strongest and it really is not the most accurate way to display what someone has learned. You could have done a lot of studying, but maybe just covered more concepts that weren't actually on the exam and concepts that were on the exam

Cosette I hear you and I'm speaking as a staff member at Berkeley. I don't teach. I don't work with undergraduate or graduate students. But I just want you to know I will work in the education field and on people striving to reform the education system. All the issues you bring up, people are not unaware of them. People are working hard to try and change the system. And it's just hard to turn a huge ocean liner
