#askswell top 5 ISSUES of 2023
You ask. Swell. I'm just curious. What do people think are the biggest issues of 2023? Like, can you rank them? Is it all too much at once? Is it the AI? Is it the climate change? Is it the election me? Is it the AI that can distort the candidates and what they say for the election? Is it the rise of too many social media apps and options at the same time? Is it inflation? I'm sure. Is it affirmative action?

It's about the lack of connection people have with their own private thoughts versus what they continually get bombarded with from media coming inside their heads and they're losing their own narrative. That's two, three. It's the redefining of what family is in a positive way, which is the ability for people to really take seriously the power of friendship
Well, this is a very interesting topic. Since I am a former newsperson myself, i, kind of like Deborah, would go another direction if I were doing a retrospective on the news of importance so far in 23. And of course, it's only been six months and we have a long way to go

Maybe not as popular to talk about, but certainly at least I know when I go back to my hometown in Madrid, Spain, in the summer, 89% of the stuff you see on the news, on local news and on national news is about the weather, is about people suffering from heat, strokes or crazy floods. It's a crazy one that would be up there for me. And then I think I mean, there goes, like, you know, I'm I'm worried

You're. Hi, my name is J. L. And my Five, and this is not in any particular order. And I'm doing this off the cuff because that's normally how I respond to swell. One would be food insecurity in the United States. Two would be affordable housing in United States politics in the United States
But it's not easy on white people either, not just with the cops, but with other things. We've had a lot of white people killed by black people, and that doesn't make the news. It's a two way street. It's not just black people or color people of color. It's everybody. Everybody is unsafe to a certain degree. I realize that people of color have a unique issue. I understand that

And I want to be clear that, again, it does not mean that my focus on my specific top five food insecurity, affordable housing, affordable health care, treatment of black people, politics, negates any other person's top five. It's just my top five. Thank you for your time
I just simply gave my impression, and perhaps I should have given it some thought before I opened my mouth. So you forgive me? Please. And I apologize for anything that I said that was offensive or hurtful, just out of place. Okay. And thank you for your feedback. It was very kind. I'm yours

Excuse me, I'm chewing on a now and later. It's my Friday treat. When I'm relaxing on the couch, what I say to my dentist is, hey, don't lecture me about it. I'm keeping you in business. Anyway, I appreciate the apology and to clarify, my response was not from a space of putting you in your place

And that's why when I look at AI, I'm like, well, you know. Yes. Yeah, I'm gonna be an AI. Because y'all are fucking up analog. You're fucking up the analog world. Y'all complain about AI, but it's like you haven't done enough in analog to begin with at all. At all. So, to me, AI is not any more terrifying than the things that you've mentioned. You know what I'm saying?
2023 is a huge year of change for all of us. I think the top five issues would mainly be pollution, climate change, the changing education system and most of all, AI. AI is taking up our whole entire world and soon will rule over all of us. We have to keep this AI under control, role. Or else things could get really bad. According to me, artificial intelligence could actually be the end of our human race. So we should be very careful
