disassociation?

But there are moments where I will literally just be in class, like in a lecture or with a group of friends that I do feel close to. And there's no reason for me to not feel a part of anything. It's more so that I'm thinking about something else, thinking about another event that happened or overthinking what I'm going to do next, what I'm going to do tomorrow, not at this disassociation

And I think that the problem of the world right now is that we have access to work and to other things all the time on our phones and not to say that's always a bad thing. But I think it's something that we don't disassociation ourselves. So I think a challenge for us is to kind of step back and try to disassociate ourselves, whether it be maybe just meditating or going on a hike or it doesn't have to be physical. It could be mental

I think zoning out if you feel like it's a liability because you're trying to learn and you're in class and you're not there anymore. Having something to pinch you back in is really a good hobby, like figuring out what's going to help you, not disassociation when you want to be present

It's kind of like I'm watching myself from a distance, and I don't feel like it feels kind of like I'm in a haze or like, there's a bubble around me, and it's kind of blocking me from fully connecting with the people that I'm with. So I don't really see it as like a moment of, like, thought, like I'm in my own thoughts and kind of like in a different place
