Yes, children, they do have a conscience. But children speak truth. If they love you, they're going to tell you. If they don't like you, they're going to tell you. If they're mad at you, they're going to tell you. And why. Adults tend to want to filter things out based upon the deep desires that they have or the feelings for other people. While children will just build it, they're going to let you know

Oh, my God. I totally agree with you. You know, I work with a little girl teaching her ukulele, and I know that's nothing compared to the expansive experience you've had with kids, but it's just a little window for me into the wonder of how minds work in little. In little people and the breaths they take in of knowledge and how they integrate or don't integrate, how they stay. In that sense of wonder. It's really quite amazing
