Affirmations Moms Actually Need

article image placeholderUploaded by @cactuscloudsart
We need to have our second immediately. Otherwise I will never do it again. And so we did. So we had our girls back to back, and they're wonderful, absolutely love them. But I had about five years, my first five years of motherhood, where that was not always the case. I continued to struggle with the postpartum depression, anxiety, and psychosis throughout that five years

The back of the box reads:

I thought long and hard about what to write on the back of the box of the deck of cards that would portray the message and the and the fervent desire that I had to take my experience, my ugly, terrible experience and maybe somehow uplift other mothers who might be experiencing the same thing. And I worked so hard on writing the back of this box and so I will just read it so that you can hear what I decided to affirmations. Moms actually need, need

When I saw that you made these, when you made these affirmations for mothers, I was like, okay, well, where do I get these? How do I get these? How many stacks can I get? I know I personally don't have children, but every woman that I know who has had children has been through really traumatic birthing experiences

Can you imagine this amplifying and helping people through language, through voice, through connection? I'm super excited. Thank you so much for being here, and I look forward to supporting you in any way I can

I have personally experienced some level of depression myself, and I have seen every mother do so that I know of. That's the reality. It's a spectrum. It's a spectrum disorder. I don't know why people don't talk about it as a spectrum disorder, but in reality it's a spectrum. So you can be at any part of the spectrum and at any time it hits. I've seen it hit different people at different times within the first twelve months
