Raising awareness on domestic violence!

article image placeholderUploaded by @Brkntobldness
Hello there. I'm Debbie Griffiths from Broken to Brkntobldness, and this is my first episode on Swell. I'm here to raise awareness on the red flags of gaslighting and domestic abuse as I am a survivor. According to the CDC, 43 million women and 38 million men are victims of gaslighting. My new novel Torched Burnt by a Gaslighter, shows the red flags of abuse along with its subtleties and provides hope that you can successfully rebuild your life after leaving an abusive relationship

Your journey

And I'll keep on asking questions if you have answers, but thanks for the plug to where we can get your book and all the people that are being impacted by your sales. That's magnificent. So I'm looking forward to hearing more more from you here. Thanks

A Journey of Love: A Reflective Journal on Intimate Partner Relationships https://a.co/d/6FULtjV

I've been on this platform for about three months, championing the awareness of domestic violence, the survivors journey, what Healing Out to Loud Looks like. I have shared in multiple responses that my goal is not to preach from a pool pit with air quotation marks around that in the sense of, oh, I'm so evolved and I'm so healed. I'm better than

So I am going to actually do a follow up to my introductory episode. So stay tuned and probably unveil a little bit more about me and my journey and how I got here, because, as I say, I've gotten a couple of other responses and I think it's good. It's good to know who we all are in this journey of life. And again, thank you so much. Appreciate it

Hi, JL. This is Debbie Griffiths. Just wanted to say thank you for your warm and very positive response and welcome. I really do appreciate it. And I did get some questions and stuff, some of my initial Swell episode. So I am actually going to be doing a follow up and slowly revealing who I am and how I came to write the book and hopefully provide this as a platform to even educate on some of the red flags going forward

Well, I must thank you to write on such a topic. That's really good to see. It's something that I've seen in my life. There are two ways for us. Leaving a relationship is one option, reporting the crime is another option. And there is also an option to change that person into someone good. Like I have seen every kind of person in my life. I've seen my friends, women and men, even women, they could be abusive
