Because if someone else is lording over you with a timeline that's not appropriate for the kind of deep work you want to do and the focus you need and the literal breath you need to master what you're doing, but that person is imposing upon you this unrealistic timeline, or the timeline that doesn't yield the results that you want the mechanisms necessary to get them to understand your commitment to this kind of beautiful work. Anytime you are in a work situation, team, family, even, you have to establish and set your own boundaries. That means that you need to understand how you work best, understand what is being asked of you, and then informing people of how you can go about that best
