Audio level concern.

Just found your app online and I'm really excited about it. However, I noticed that there were some people who are Mike really good and strong with audio quality and some who are very weak. And Unfortunately, I found that my voice was among those who are very weak. I'm speaking right up to my microphone on my phone. And I did read where some people were saying the Android version just came out. Maybe it's brand new to Android. Maybe those who are louder are on iPhone

Technical issue?

I've heard a few of them mentioned that explicitly that it's having that really crisp sort of podcast like audio quality is of the most importance to them, so they already had the equipment, so it's easier for them to make it sound a little bit better. I do know that if you hold your phone just slightly away from your face, it is a little bit better. But yeah, the crisp quality that you're hearing on some of those posts is definitely because they have pro tools

Thanks for the answer Taylor. It's nice that you do have a view meter and modulation showing on the screen. I was wondering if there is an online version of Swell where one can hook up one's microphones which I do have since I used to work in radio and I do other voiceover type stuff. I can hook up that to my computer and it'd be interesting to try

Hey, no worries. I do know that you have a swellcast.com page. It's swellcast.com your username. That way, people can listen to you and Mike interact with your posts. And that way I don't believe that they can respond from the Internet or from the Web browser. Rather, they'd have to respond directly from the app. But I'm going to tag a few people here who I believe use some tools, they might have some advice. You

My experience thus far

So again, I would say check on your phone, see what phone you have, what type of phone when it came out because that could be some of the issues as well. Especially if you're recording from Mike, an iPhone seven or earlier device

But I appreciate your input. And yeah, those are a lot of things that we need to pay attention to. But I was just wondering if there was a difference maybe with people who are using Android versus iPhone. My early readings this morning, it looked like I had found something where someone had said that Android was just recently included in on this app and there might be some other issue there. The underlying thing that is an issue with Androids
