Reading Inspires Creativity

"…Reading inspires creativity. Readings from science fiction writer Catherine M. Valente has given inspiration for me to read a book. Johndra, not typically a favorite of mine, says autumn fall is my favorite season, as it were. Also my mother and grandmother. I'm hooked on beautiful writing descriptions about autumn and fall. Katherine Valente descriptions of autumn is so beautifully fabulous in her book, the Girl Who Circumvented Fairyland in A ship of her own Making.…"

"…And I love your title and how much when we read and we read a turn of phrase that inspires us so much and says, wow, that's the perfect turn of phrase, how much that inspires us to write, to speak better, to imagine things differently. Just beautiful. There's so much to read out there. And sometimes I look art my bookshelf and I say, why haven't I read half of these books? Why are they with me?…"

"…True to my title, reading Inspires Creativity, I wrote a poem. Now, I've written poems before, but this particular poem was inspired by all of the beautiful writing from Catherine M. Valente. Of course, it's not as beautiful as she would have written, but I'm going to read my poem in my next swell before the evening is over. It's going to be a short swell because it's just a reading of my poem illustrating that reading does inspire creativity in so many ways.…"

"…I have one little library that I hill with books out near my farm, and I have a website, and I've talked about it, but I still need to really get a letter of solicitation developed to try to raise some money for my nonprofit so that I can buy lots of books. And my plans are to go to schools and give up books as well. But that's another conversation we'll have when you tell me about your nonprofit experience. Assurances. Thank you so much. Bye.…"

"…Thank you for sharing this. I have a bookshelf probably I've read on the bookshelf. It's about three shelves. I've probably read 40% of the book books I haven't read. And it's books that I normally would not read but I've bought to support others. But part of this academy is a networking group of authors and entrepreneurs called the Connected Leaders Academy.…"

"…But I still believe that reading just is essential. And libraries need to be on every corner, like their liquor stores. Right. That's what makes an individual well rounded, being able to converse, right. Books, everything is found. Not everything, but online at our fingertips. But I think if you remember more when you read it, you can go back and you can highlight it.…"

"…Luciana, I hope I'm pronouncing your name correctly. I agree with everything you said. Reading is it inspires creativity. It builds our vocabulary, it builds our understanding and comprehension and sense of everything we do, the sense of the world we live in. If we do lots of reading. It also paints a picture in our mind every time we sit down to write something.…"

"…Ms. Hill, thank you so much for telling me about your husband. I am currently still an active duty marine with almost 28 years of service. I retired this year. But before I go on any further, please is I want to tell you thank you for your sacrifice as a spouse to a marine who's been in conflict because I know what my spouse has been through and I've served in several conflicts. And then your husband simplified Ellis to your husband.…"
