I wish I had a pencil

Granted, it was fifth grade, and then I thought, if I could only have a typewriter, I could write more. So I got a typewriter. And I did write similar things. Poems, short stories. Then I thought, if only I had a word processor, I wrote some more. If only I had a computer, I'd write some more. For 15 years, I wrote a newspaper column in my hometown called Family Matters. I wrote about my kids growing up

Brian, this was so perfect, this moment, listening to you. I've really been enjoying your swells. And I know how important it is to mark a moment of revelation just because it's a great opportunity to not measure, but honor. Like these very salient moments in our mind where we realize more about ourselves. And it's kind of delicious and it's kind of sobering and it's multiple emotions all at once

@DBPardes

Just a quick reply. I think what's funny is often I focus on the tools I need, when in reality, the only tools I need are the words in my head to put the pen to paper. And thank you for being so welcoming. It while I'm enjoying this. I'm enjoying this because the feedback, for the most part, is always positive feedback. And I need to write more. Doesn't matter on what or how or when. I just need to do more

I'm mark I think what this goes back to is we always think we have time. And that is a myth. That is definitely a myth. What I've been doing is to create more. Time is not hitting the little red button on the remote and realizing that time to read, time to write, time, time to just walk by a stream is more important than what's happening on a TV show. So thanks for the reply, Mark. I wish you the best
