Do you outline or script your podcasts? Or improvise?

I'm out on a walk now cause it's really pretty outside and while I'm at it, I have another question for those of you who produce a lot of content on here. I'm curious when you do your audio post, do you you write them up in advance? If so, do you do like a full script or just bullets? I'm curious because I find when I try to just improvise, I end up rambling and then I go back and record over stuff

A question for frequent content producers

I’m an improviser mostly.

So when it comes to a subject, if I want to talk about a particular subject for an original post, that's where a bit more preparation goes into place. So maybe I'm watching YouTube videos on the matter. Maybe I am reading articles, whatever it may be. But ultimately I'm more of an improviser when it comes to podcasting. I feel naked when I am reading from a script. To me, it's the least bit interesting

Thank you, will give each of the methods a try!

Hey, Bride Oreo, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. It's interesting to hear you say that you feel naked when you're reading from a script because that's kind of how I feel when I try to improvise. Or I guess more accurately, I feel like I'm wandering out into wilderness without a map. It kind of makes me think of a meme that I saw that makes me laugh. Or not really a meme

You’re off to a good start.

Another thing I wanted to mention is that they have stop and record here, so you don't have to record the whole five minutes so you can record a little something and hit the pause button, which is the record button for say something, say something, pause it, and there you go. You could stream together audio that way. Maybe that could help you a bit more

I did a video game review that way, but a lot of the stuff I just like being me, and I think that doing that in a stream of consciousness manner is the best way to get your point across

If it’s not a podcast, it’s not a big deal

And believe me, I wouldn't listen to the director of a movie talk about something for 2 hours anyway, just to say that I think of this app as so far from podcasting that I don't particularly care whether people improvise or script out their content. For me, I try to keep everything under five minutes here anyway, and for that I don't feel like a I need a script or B. I'm happy to listen to someone random for five minutes but not if it's a podcast

@Taylor @Tim

I was recently on a social app that did live streaming, and I still am not used to this idea of live streaming, because what most of the people on this app used it for is they would just be sitting and listening to music or gaming. But a lot of times it wasn't like a gaming video where you could see what they were doing and see how they were reacting to things in the game
