So here's a free resource for you, and I just put that out there and offer it to the swell community here and hope all my gardening friends out there use this research. Or you could just share what are some of your favorite places to get seeds or plants? Because as it's snowing outside my window here on Groundhog Day, I am in the mode of planning and thinking through what I'm going to be planting this year in my garden

Hey Barbara, great to hear from you as well as thank you so much for sharing this information with the Swell community. I think it's great to share any type of information that is a positive for others to either partake in or know that there's resources out there for them to dabble in. And I think that this is a really cool opportunity for people. They don't have to have an outdoor space. You can garden indoors. Obviously

Oh, wow. This is so exciting, Barbara. Thank you. I'm going to look into this. I live here in Los Angeles, and I've been doing some winter vegetables. Brussels sprouts are going well. Obviously, the herbs, parsley and Rosemary, spearmint and kale is doing great. But I'm about to cut off the head of a beautiful broccoli. So I'm going to show you it here in its native environment before I put it into the kitchen. Thanks so much

How wonderful. Two Southern California gardeners. How exciting. Well, I'm up here in Michigan, and I've got news for you. We can grow just as much as you guys do. In fact, our growing might be better because you you know what we have here that you guys don't have water. Yeah, we have 20% of the world's water here. So actually, one could argue, oh, especially as time goes on here and this thing called global warming goes on
And I'm looking at one of my garden beds right now and it is sprouting. My green onions are flourishing and I've got a couple of other plants going. But I don't want to give it a kind of horror, as we say. I don't want to jinx it. So we'll see what happens. But thank you for sharing this resource. I'm definitely going to check it out

They're all south facing, and I love growing them. And actually next year I'm going to work it out that I can do, starting more in February and then ending in the fall. So maybe really only for two months. I'm not growing much. Excuse me. So many things. So many things that can be grown. Thank you. Would love to hear more about your garden
And then another box I had, I don't know, someone at the nursery recommended it to me, but it was like an assortment of seeds. And I got a couple of packages of it and they said spread it all around. But it was everything from like sort of edible flowers to radishes to arugula. It was a really interesting mixture. And I was like, why not? Let's give it a go

Oh, Taylor, it's so fun to talk about this. I love plants. I'm very passionate about it and I'm so glad you're joining the plant train because it is an incredible hobby and one that I highly recommend having or it can be a business for people people making money off of this too. But anyway, that's a whole nother story. Hobby becoming business. Don't get me started. Okay. Thanks, Taylor. Ciao
