Orwell’s Six Rules https://s.swell.life/STR3TLEU6LLVgwa

I'm also adding here the six rules from George Orwell. So there is a link to an article from The Economist again, which talks about those six rules. In summary, the six rules are number one, never use a metaphor, assembly or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print. Number two, never use a long word, where a short one will do. I love this one. And this is it's. Such a great term

I'm using a new word to just kind of keep your emperada on the work you do so that you don't become too sterile. But this is great. I want to share this with a writing journalism group that I'm in on Facebook. I bet they'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much

The shit no one told you about writing : https://s.swell.life/STRB0XvyNDASti7

If the essence of the book is for a target audience which appreciates an atmospheric beauty for which a description extends up to four pages, then that's what it is. And if that means if it sells ten copies lesser, that is acceptable. Because part of the joy of creativity is to do what you want to do. Otherwise it's a PowerPoint presentation you're delivering to shareholders meeting. Right? So that's not how fiction writing ought to be, where one gets to express freely
